back in collegeholidays was fun. Really!
though I did not have enough dough to have fun at Redang paradise with the VG, I did have some fun. =)
1. went to Melaka for the 5th time- yi lan kindly offered to accomodate all of us! Thanks Xin Chi! her house, which was on a hilltop, was really cooling and nice at night, so cooling that no air-cond was needed! *shocked from the eyes of a pure city girl*
- though I have been to melaka so many times, there were still historical places that I have just found out about. for instance, I never knew that a small state such as melaka could sqeeze in a Group as BIG as ASEAN! well, mini asean that is la. there was this place called Mini Asean and Mini Malaysia in melaka where us students had to pay rm5 to see old houses and run-down ruins. well, at least the cultural performance was pretty colourful and fascinating. the dancers were smiling, laughing and even shouting happily while they dance, except for a few sour grapes lah. haha. I'm not into cultural dances but this was quite oooooookayyy to watch. =)
-besides, I have just found out that St. Paul existed! and there as place named after him in melaka! so much for my historical knowledge. haha..
- for the food section, I think that the chicken rice ball still tastes the same, sticky, eeky and kinda yucky. however, the 'sate celup' was kinda nice. its like steamboat food such as fish balls, chicken balls, pork balls and whatever edible balls on a stick, dipped into boiling sate peanut sauce. D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S ! and its dirt cheap too, which makes it even more delicious! =P
2. watched a whole english tv series - Heroes!
- have not done this in ages! wait....the only tv series I have completed watching so far is desperate housewives, season 1 & 2. not that I want to grow up into a desperate housewife but it is fun watching them dealing with their dramatic lives. =P
- Heroes was really, really fun and adddictive to watch! I was so into it during the holidays that I had back-to-back marathons, from midnight right to the wee hours of morning. no class mar.. hehe =P
- I was so into Heroes that I Actually Believed that they existed! I know, i know, I sounded like a silly primary school girl hoping that Blossom from the PowerPuff Girls would fly into her window (incidently, Blossom is my favourite Powerpuff Girl. I mean, Was!).
Anyway, I was washing my clothes downstairs during one fine midnight while the rest of my family was sleeping soundly. mom was kicking me to do it earlier but I procrastinated till midnight. =P
there I was, brushing away, not so happily, when my sixth sense suddenly tingled! I had this uneasy feeling that I was being watched, by Peter, the guy who can absorb other people's powers. well, he could have absorbed invisible man's powers and decided to come into my house and watch me wash clothes. who knows, right? or maybe it was the Invisible Man (forgot what his name was) himself! it was kinda freaky and scary. so I increased my brushing speed, dumped everything else into the washing machine, grabbed some food (for supper =P) and Ran upstairs! haha..paused my Heroes marathon after that and watched southpark for a while. =P
3. got stuck in KL Sentral during midnight!
- missed the last train back to nilai after a night out celebrating pui mun's bday. was so scared but lucky me, I had stef to accompany me. wanted to take a cab back to nilai but as we approached the cab stand, the cabbies started to call us "ah moi, ah moi! mari! mari! saya hantar you balik rumah!"(girl, girl. come. come. I send you back home!). wah! after hearing that, we got so scared that we decided to cancel that option home. luckily, stef's friend came to the rescue! =) lucky us! can't imagine two girls spending a night a kl sentral! freakly scary!
4.Others
- mamak with the gang. always fun and hilarious.
- read a book. haven been doing that in ages!
- played lots and lots of games!
- din't have to do any assignments! =)
overall, I had fun not having to rush for any assignments. =)
