Drinking at this hour? lol

My mom has just let my try some of the liquer in the fridge. In fact, I was eye-ing at the open bottle last night but forgot to try some. Then this afternoon when my mom and I were at the kitchen, she asked if I would like to try some of it before going backt to the jungle. My reply was...Of course! =P

Hence, now I'm enjoying a litle goblet of this. =)

Updates Updates Updates

Phew, the past few weeks has been pretty hectic for me in college. Been doing a lot of stuff, having a lot of changes. So, there's gonna three different updates on this post tonight.

First things first, let me introduce to you my new toy! =D

Yup yup , my dad finally brought me a new laptop ! The old compaq is still hanging there but, always hanging. Its not entirely dead yet, but it hangs so often that it always delays my work. There was once the startup took half an hour! Yup, very very slow. Comparing my compaq with this new baby is like comparing a tortoise with a cheetah (my opinion), though my dad defended the compaq by saying that when he brought it, it had the speed of a horse, not tortoise. lol

Yeah, we haven named them yet because they are prefectly identical. We don't even know the gender of the hamsters yet. So I'll probably think of some conventional hamster names later on like Hammie or something like that.

Third update!

After toiling for the entire month of April, not toiling to be exact...but I was restless and worried about the event, orientation night, for the whole month. Cause its actually my first time as an organising chairperson for an event for the Orientation Counselors, which is pretty big for me cause there are a lot of counselors more qualified to hold that position than me. But nevertheless, I tried to do my best and fulfilled all the duties I could think of, with constant help by the rest of the team.

The night had a theme, which was the Casino Royale.

When I first took this project, I only had one objective for the project, which was to make it as big as Halloween Night. =)

There was definately a lot of setbacks in this project.

Cancellation of Food and Drinks was the first.

No Food NOR Drinks ?!?!

From that, I knew we have already lost our ticket's selling point. What's the point of selling tickets when there's nothing other than entertainment promised ?Nilai people are pretty stingy with their money, especially when it comes to events like this. They pay like rm10 and expect to be served steak and red wine. tuh!

So, we decided to cancel the ticket price also. BUT, we decided to photostate the tickets anyway. I wanted to instill some element of elegance and class into the event, that even though entrance was free, it would not and should not be a just a show, that people will walk in and out of the whole night. In our previous orientation nights, most of the exsisting nilai students seldom show support to the orientation night. It wasn't a very pretty welcoming action. =S

Mama and her team distributed like 600 tickets at the orientation booth for one whole week. But the question was, did the students just took this tickets as flyers and later on tossed them away into the bin behind our backs?

I did also hear some discouraging conversations striked within earshot

"Haiya, who will go to this type of event?! Its just an orientation night lah. Nothing special. Tickets give free somemore. So desperate" =(

Anyway, the whole night went a lot better than I have expected it to be.

This time, the response was..Overwhelming!

No sound problems,

no group frustrations,

not too much delay,

LOTS of crowd.

Everything just fell into place that night.

I'll be lying if I told you I was not beaming a lot that night.

Its feels like watching your own baby walk, though I'm pretty sure the real feeling of motherhood would be far better than that.

Its definately a night to remember. =)

Bored & Stressed ?!

This is by far my worst timetable, ever! I have four 8am classes, from Mondays to Thursdays. Thats four days out of my five days of study. That's foul, that what it is. Eghhh..! What happened?! I thought that my course has always been the favorite of the admin people in the college. We used to have nice, non 8am-ish, more to 3pm-ish classes and nice exams schedules. How would they expect people to perform well in classes, or even concentrate to the lessons? I do believe that most of us, thanks to our biological clock at this age, are nocturnal people. Me, especially, do not do well in early morning daylight. Sunshine makes me wither, and zombie-like.

So, thank you so much for ruining my week, you darn 8am classes, and all the weeks to come for the next three months. I've been waking up early for the past 3days, which makes me really really really grumpy. Thats times three! I hope you're happy. Eghhh...

Day at TRAP !

* this is gonna be a short post cause i'm feeling really tired and feverish now, so i should probably sleep earlier, than usual.

What is TRAP? TRAP, short for Taman Rekreasi Air Panas aka Sungai Klah Hot Springs Park. It is located at Sungkai, Perak, which took us an hour and a half from Subang. Went there with puiyan, shalom and two of his friends, ivan and..hazman? Sorry if i spelled your name wrongly =P

played some kindergarten game in the car that requires merciless slapping on our hands. lol
my hand is the one on the left. it was actually slapped till it was boiling hot but since my hands are dark, the redness wasnt that obvious =S

We reached there around 6 in the evening. It was pouring in Sungkai. It was actually also raining on our way there but we figured since Sungkai was a totally different state, there should be difference in the weather there. Just like in Nilai, it may be raining in my college (Negeri Sembilan) but INTI college, which was on the outskirts of Selangor, might surprisingly be dry though the distance between the two colleges is less than 500metres.

Anyway, it was pouring in Sungkai but we went into the park anyway. The entrance fee was RM 7 per person, which I think is pretty expensive, but being a RM6 million project located in a pretty secluded area, they have to find ways to recover that cost, don't they?
I did not manage to snap any pictures in the park cause I did not bring my phone in. So, I took several pictures from this website called MalaysiaVacationGuide.com, which is a pretty good site that recommends good places to go in Malaysia.

It was beautiful at night, with all the steam rising from the water.

The previous pool was like a warm up...for this pool.
The water here was around 38 -42 Celsius, hot hot hot!
I dipped my legs in the pool for a while, and came out with 10 red cocktail sausages, attached to feet, what used to be my toes. =D

The water here is at boiling point wei, no joke, 100 Celsius.
We brought and tossed three eggs in and took them out 5mins later.
I'm not a fan of eggs, not any in particular =P, but the egg I had boiled in that hot spring water was the best egg I have ever tasted.
(it might also probably be caused by the fact that it was 8pm and I have yet to eat any dinner)

We stopped to have Burger King at the Sungai Buloh bridge on the way back. Reached home around 11pm. I had a great but tiring day overall. Can't wait to go back to college *sigh*
