Duo Celebrations

We had a great family dinner last Sunday at my cousin, Jason's place.
The dinner was in conjunction of the Father's Day celebration and a welcome-back-to-Malaysia to my aunt and cousins, coming back from the States.

i get to see her only once in two years, she's growing so fast!

it took me so long so get her to warm up to me so that i could carry her.
she is so shy but so adorable.

my brother hid in a corner of room and waited for her.
when Sophia walked past that corner, my bro did a little jump in front of her.

my brother: Sophia ! Boo !
Sophia: Stop it. Stop it. I want my mommy.......! *in a soft and cute little American accent*

a small snake eating a tiny mouse.

just a few minutes ago, the mouse was actively running around the tank. well, that was before the snake striked and bound the mouse to death =S
yeah, snakes are NOT my friends.
but i watched this in my attempt to face my fears,
and in time...i might even be able to hold one in my hands!
