food post !

woke up extra early today to go to kaili's breakfast meal at flamme restaurant,
yeah, again. that's my second time there this week.

the breakfast came with a price, of course.
a pricey one, that is.

it was rm 10 for....
coco crunch as appetizers,
stuffed omelet,
half a slice of toasted bread,
one sausage,
potato
and fruits.

oh..coffee and cordial drinks.

ya, so not worth rm10 wei.

I would have been happier paying rm8.50 for McDonald's Big Breakfast.
at least I'll get to eat my beloved Sausage McMuffin =)

but nvm lah...have to support my friend since its for her finals.

after class, dad picked me up from college. he was feeling hungry and adventurous.

fyi, my dad is usually not the adventurous type of person.

he is quite the opposite in fact.

he is usually the type that sticks to a restaurant that he thinks is good.
yeah, the loyal type of person.

but, loyalty is one thing,
and taking the whole family to the same place every weekend till all of us get so sick of the restaurant that we begin to start tearing our hairs out, is a different thing.

there's this once, he found a really good and clean bak kut teh restaurant at ss17, Jaya Square.
sure, it was good at first.
clean restaurant with lots of fu chok, I like.
in that two months without fail, i think we have became steady patrons of the same bak kut teh restaurant for every saturday!
I got so so so sick of bak kut teh after that MySpace

then, we switched to some curry fish head restaurant at ss15 till all of us went MySpace

you get the gist =P

and now the current 'fad' for my saturday meals are still...
margaret's yong tau foo!
i love it still, though =P

anyway....

he was feeling adventurous and wanted to look for this famous restaurant in Dengkil.
and dig this...
he does not know where it is,
what is the name of the restaurant or
what it was famous for!
so fun! =P

lol..so there we were, in Dengkil, seeking high and low for this 'famous' restaurant.

then we found this...
the name of the restaurant is not noticeable in this picture, but its called Restaurant Sinki.
yeah, the Basin Restaurant.
it was not surprising why it took us long before we could find the place ya?
look at the exterior, no signs of 'famous-ness' at all.

but inside, there were lots of newspapers clippings of the restaurant and pictures of famous ppl who dined there before.
there was also our ex-transport minister, Tan Sri Chan Kong Choy's brimming face stuck on the wall.

needless to say, we've found our 'famous' restaurant in the small town of Dengkil.

and we had....

Braised Pork Vermicelli
for lunch.

yeah, I know...
in this picture, the dish looks as though it has came out from the other end of an elephant, right?

but its a chinese, normal class, restaurant mar.
and isn't a normal perception that for chinese food,
the dirtier looking,
the more delicious? lol

its was really really yummy for me MySpace

After the Dark Era of UFR Group Assignment

I think many people would agree with me when I say, UFR, Understanding Financial Report, is by far one of the toughest assignments I have ever encountered.

I've spent so, so many sleepless nights toiling over it. Then, I went to meet another two from two other groups, just to compared our results and we found out that our figures and methods used were different from everyone else's.

Headache, kaw kaw.

Anyway, I'm not going to rant about how horrible and confusing the assignment was.

I'm gonna post pictures taken at the end of that horrible era instead! =D

after the half an hour presentation....
my group and lecturer
chris, chew yen, ying min, denise and me

by the way, i'm so so glad that there were less than 20 people in the lecture hall that day,
instead of the usual 70.
presentation was great, and not too nerve-wreaking.
good job everyone! =D

taken using chew yen's high-tech pda.
I want a pda too,
so so so gaya MySpace

Drinking at this hour? lol

My mom has just let my try some of the liquer in the fridge. In fact, I was eye-ing at the open bottle last night but forgot to try some. Then this afternoon when my mom and I were at the kitchen, she asked if I would like to try some of it before going backt to the jungle. My reply was...Of course! =P

Hence, now I'm enjoying a litle goblet of this. =)

.Amarula Cream.

Pretty nice actually. I'm a bit dense about liquer but Amarula does taste abit like Irish Cream. Me like =D
