Twisty Puzzles - The Little Collection

I meant to update this post for a long time but never quite got around to do it till now =P

This is my little twisty puzzle collection..

I meant to update this post on the 25th April actually. hehe

the super cheap 4x4 and 2x2 cubes I got from Jonker Street.
If I'm not mistaken, 2x2 was supposed to be rm18 while the 4x4 is supposed to be about rm28,
but I got both for rm28! haha..Super Cheap!
* I accidentally dropped the 4x4 a piece came out but since its okay, still worth the rm28. haha

My favourite Type-C Transparent cube with transparent stickers
& a basic Rubik's cube with CubeSmith Textured Tiles.

The Rubik's Cube was my first cube..certainly not the best though.

A round puzzle that some friends got for me from the Curve.

It has the exact same concept as a 3x3 cube but extremely tedious to solve,
even after lubing it.
I think I tool about 15mins to solve it for the first time, and never scrambled it since then. LOL

an imitation of Rubik's Snake, in a Giraffe shape.

I got this also from Jonker Street for only rm5. hehe
I only know how to form two shapes with the Rubik's Snake,
a giraffe and a cross.

Apparently you can form a lot of other shapes with this puzzle, like frogs, lilypads and stuff, but I haven't got around to learn or have interest to learn that yet.

It is quite a fun and amazing puzzle..you can shape it as a bench, bridge and even toilet bowl. haha

really awesome to look at, but too glaring and not practical to speed with.

this is super adorable and works just like a normal-sized 3x3 cube!

I just love transparent cubes! hehe..
a little bit pricey compared to normal cubes but so nice to look at. =D

it was so intriguing to put my finger into the center of the cube and feel no cores nor screws.
I'm still amazed by how it actually functions the same as a normal 3x3.

a very fun and intriguing puzzle to play with...

all the edges and corners of the Rubik's Mirror cube is not the same,
as in some pieces are thicker and bigger than the rest.

so...when it is scrambled,

it is somewhat like watching something from the Transformers.

exhausted

they say that it is not good for your brain cells if you don't get enough sleep, ya?
Well, I think I've FINALLY done it!
I've EFFECTIVELY destroying my brain cells now, by bulk!

Its assignments' dateline week,

I've not sleep much for the past three nights,

less than 10hours sleep in three days.

was going thru a lot of stress this week
so much burden and stress
that my weeny brain has finally, turned into mush

yeah, so.....this is how I currently look like.

An Astounding Star

I was looking around in the web with Stumble Upon! and I found this really, really cool website about our universe. And there's this amazing looking star I found !
I've actually seen it before in a video clip but seeing it again is still...
Astounding!

Okay, I actually DO NOT look this cunning when I saw this star but this is the best and the most apposite emoticon I can find =P

The star is called Helix Nebula, otherwise known as Eye of God

Here's some info about the Helix Nebula from the Wikipedia.....

The Helix Nebula is an example of a planetary nebula created at the end of the life of a Sun-like star. The outer gases of the star expelled into space appear from our vantage point as if we are looking down a helix. The remnant central stellar core, destined to become a white dwarf star, glows in light so energetic that it causes the previously expelled gas to fluoresce.

Helix lies about 650 light-years away towards the constellation of Aquarius and spans about 2.5 light-years.
