Guess What !
Team Potato last sunday, I went for the IOI Streetball Challenge at Bandar Puteri Puchong and...
both girls teams from Nilai UC won the
1st and 2nd prizes in the Women Open catergory!!!

when I registered both teams, I couldn't think of any names to put. so...guess what were the teams' names?
POTATO and TOMATO !what... I was hungry at that time. Its lucky that I did not put Pizza and Lasagna, would have been a bigger laughing stock then. hehe
Team Tomato
so during the finals, it was
POTATO versus TOMATO. the emcee during the finals was pretty funny. he said:
"Now, not many of you know this, the
POTATO and TOMATOteams are actually from the same
kebun [farm], but I think they use different
baja [fertilizer] lah."
kebun? lol !

yah, we all came from the
green Nilai
kebun.
playing against each other in the finals, which was so weird cause of all the familiar faces as opponents. we could not and would not want to play roughly as we didn't want to injure our friends. the game in the finals was really tight as both teams know the others weaknesses. we [zhenjia, kaili and I] won by just a few lucky shots.
anyway, I'm
so proud of both teams.

a shot during gamewhat a fun day =)
made me miss all the fun I had with Jo-Ve and Luanne during the secondary school years where we went for almost all 3on3 tournaments that we can find - And1, Adidas, Spalding, Petronas. All the early morning trips, long waits and great fun. =)
Ahh, wished I was 17 again. What happy worry-free days.
I'll will be hunting for new balance products soon. got rm300 cash voucher to spend. =P

just came home from puiyan's place. winnie, puimun, sheeann, puiyan, shalom and I stayed up all night playing
the game of life. shalom left after the first game though, had to work the next day. the rest of us played all night, which was a darn super duper fun outing. everyone was after each others throats for the fattest salary, chanting the number of their stocks, and influencing others to give birth to more babies. it may be just a game, but we have also discovered who in the group would most likely be first to get married, who was most fertile (LOL !) and who will most likely spend the rest of their lives on one night stands. =P
we should do this more often girls, and guy. its fun and funnieeee! =D
winnie's Soxxxxxed stuffed crust pizza
(had to put the xx's there in case of under-18 ppl reading =P)
signing off.

Bukit Cahaya, Shah AlamAfter months and months of planning (well, not exactly hard planning), we were finally able to go to Bukit Cahaya at Shah Alam! Yay! Not much to say, pictures are worth more a thousand words.

lee pui yan, pui yan, winnie and me at the entrance of the place.

the path at the forest. well, the path we went on wasn't all that natural actually.
it was more like this.....
Tar road.

All of us wanted to cycle all the way but apparently a group of people with some 160++ members took almost all of the bikes there.
So, we took the last two and decided to share it among the five of us.

We were going uphill most of the time so instead of cycling most of the time and enjoying the breeze in our hair as we ride, we rented the bikes to push it uphill. At least there were some parts on the way up sloping downwards, which was fun and fast !
There was some program, something called Walk the Canopy or something similar, that costs RM35 per person.

This is canopy walk thingy. Pretty impressive. Lots of logs hung not-so-high up on trees.

More logs.

Me at some historic, woody looking entrance. It most probably lead to some hall where a 'rempits' party was taking place. There was this guy doing a really bad impersonation of a high-pitched rocker, and his voice was blasted all around the area.
It.was.not.peaceful.as.I.expected.the.park.to.be.
Darn you, off-tuned but confident singer!

me and pui yan.
(its a rare picture! =P)

me, winnie and pui yan.

I like this picture =)

Some creepy-crawly plant farm, either starfruit or dragonfruit.

Cactus farm, looks like some prehistoric setting right? =D

emo @ emohill
laugh all you want, I like this pic!

A huge dam at the top of the hill.
We got rid of the bikes and hop on a bus to get to the top of the hill.
With the bikes, it will take days before we'll reach to the top.

That's a really long drop.

The freshwater fishes at the dam.

On the right, you can see someone emo-ing by the dam, thinking about life and depression, and food.
While on left side of the picture, we are all witness to a reenactment of a
Winter Sonata scene.

On the floating platform after we had our picnic.

After walking for about 3hours straight, we were beginning to feel tired and decided to watch the clouds as we waited for the bus to arrive. But our bliss was shortlived. Some monkeys came to Our lying spot, and started to bully us away from the spot! How can we say no to vicious claws

The monkey boss eating a Mamee Monster snack. A little while later, the same monkey boss was seen bullying some Iranian tourists. The Iranian's three brand new bottles of mineral water was snatched from his hands and flung far away. He was worried that that the monkey would continue to attack so he hurried from the scene, leaving the three bottles of water, which was quite a waste considering monkeys most probably can't open the caps of the bottle.
One feature we were looking forward to in Bukit Cahaya was it's Four Season House.
We were all crossing our fingers, hoping that it would be the winter season but it turned out to be having an early spring season (7-12 celcius) which was beautiful.

The little house with the waterwheel during early spring.

It was pretty nice in there, lots of fresh flowers, so flora-ish!

I wanna go to someplace where this was actually a real scene, not a mock one.

Trees
Porcupines!
Well, those in pet shops look a lot nicer.
These are really nosy, kinda smelly but kinda cute, at times.
